Community Recipes: Lavin Labels Boozy Pecan Pie Milkshake

Are you looking for a little something frosty to beat the summer heat?  Check out Lavin Label, one of our favorite websites for inventive ways to use Schermer Pecans. 

Blogger Monica Lavin created a boozy pecan pie milkshake - a decadent perfect for the weekend treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 large slice pecan pie
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 shot bourbon, optional
  • Whipped cream
  • Schermers Pecans, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients for the milkshake into your blender. Blend on high until thick and creamy.
  2. Transfer to a glass. Garish with whipped cream and top with pecans. Enjoy this rich southern treat!
